Karyn Bigelow is currently Co-Executive Director at Creation Justice Ministries. She is an advocate for the Earth and the people who reside in it. Karyn formerly worked at Bread for the World focusing her work on climate change and food security with a racial equity lens.
She is a trained beekeeper in Washington, D.C. Karyn is a steering committee member of the American Baptist Churches’ Creation Justice Network and engaged with the Pan African Young Adult Network.
Karyn is a graduate of the James Madison College at Michigan State University with a degree in Social Relations and Policy. She also holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Karyn is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Global Food Security and Nutrition from the University of Edinburgh focusing her studies on sustainability.
